TvSerialinfo : The popular Bengali TV Show Koler Bou is going to off air in the month of January. The new serial DHRUBTARA WILL REPLACE KOLER BOU, BENGALI SHOW.
The last episode will be aired on 24th January, 2020.
Bengali daily soap ‘Koler Bou’ narrates the story of a Robot Bahu, is going to end its journey soon. The comedy-drama featured Trina Saha in dual roles, while Rohaan Bhattacharya plays the role of a talented scientist. Upcoming daily soap ‘Dhrubatara’ will replace the time slot of ‘Koler Bou’.
The show was launched in May, 2019, made quite a buzz even before its launch due to its interesting storyline. But ‘Koler Bou’ reportedly couldn’t match the expectation, industry sources suggest and hence is going off-air quite early. Notably, when the small screen is dominated by saas-bahu sagas, and period-dramas, a concept like humanoid bahu is definitely worth mention.
The storyline has some similarities with Hindi sitcom Bahu Hamari Rajni Kant
The story revolved around scientist Deep, who falls for village belle Tepi. They get married soon and Deep is left shocked seeing how naïve Tepi is. To rescue her, Deep creates a humanoid Tamasa, who looks like Tepi but is smarter. Interestingly, none of the family members are aware that Tamasa and Tepi are different people.
The story takes a hilarious turn as Deep faces googlies after googlies while tackling Tepi and Tamasa.
The show has a strong cast which includes Dipankar De, Soma Chakraborty, Rupsha Chakraborty and others. ‘Koler Bou ’ is produced by Snehasish Chakraborty.
