Everest is Ashutosh Gowariker’s television debut as a producer and A.R.Rehman’s television debut as Music Composer. The music of Everest TV Show is composed by A. R. Rahman. TV Serial Everest is shot in India and Nepal. The shooting locations included Everest Base Camp (in Nepal) and the Dokriani Glacier (in India), which are located at a height of 17,590 feet (5,360 m) and 12,000 feet (3,700 m) above sea level, respectively. Everest has been scheduled to premiere on STAR Plus on 3 November 2014 at 10:00 pm.
Story of the TV Show Everest | Plot
Everest is the story of a young girl, Anjali who aspires to conquer her own personal EVEREST. At the age of 21, Anjali Singh Rawat learns that her father had never wanted a daughter. This leads to a conflict in the life of Anjali, who begins questioning her own existence. To win the love of her father and to gain his acceptance Anjali sets on a journey to climb Mount Everest, which has been her father’s unfulfilled dream. But the jof a young girl story journey she has to face is not an easy one and Everest portrays the struggle of Anjali to reach the highest peak of the world and get the love of her father. So to impress her father and make a place in his heart she takes up the challenge to climb Mt Everest.

Kishori Shahane is playing the character of Anjali’s mother Sarita. She is a soft-hearted lady. She is fully devoted to her daughter and will go to any lengths to make her happy.

Shamata Anchan is the Female Lead in the Serial. She was last seen in the Garnier Fructis ad playing with her lovely tresses.
